Riser Card Options

Picture of PCITX8-3PCITX8-3 is a PCI 64 bit right angle extender that turns on B side only. It is designed for the 1U/2U chassis, and it supports the PCIX mode. When user's I/O board is inserted, it will be parallel to the motherboard with component side down. An on-board jumper allows VIO conversion, so a 3.3V I/O board can be used in a 5V slot, and vice versa. To order, specify -3 for VIO=3.3V, -5 for VIO=5V, -5/3 for 5V card in a 3.3V slot, -3/5 for 3.3V card in a 5V slot. The overall dimension of the PCITX8-3 is 5.32"L X 1.08"H The connector center height is 0.88". User can order the gold finger and the connector to be either 3.3V, 5V or mixed. PCITX3N1 is a PCI 3 in 1 right angle riser. The overall dimension of the main board assembly is 2.75"H x 7.10"W. The middle slot is connected directly to the gold fingers. Majority of the bus signals of the top slot is connected to the middle slot. However, there are some dedicated signals that are needed for the top slot, and they are borrowed from a narrow cable that is plugged into a nearby motherboard slot. The bottom slot is a completely independent connection, coming from a wide cable that connects to yet another PCI slot on the motherboard. This arrangement allows the bottom slot to work off a PCI slot on the Motherboard that is not common to the PCI slot where the riser is plugged in. The user can order the riser with a three PCI-32 bit slot or up to a three 64 bit slot configuration. The VIO voltage of each slot on the riser is selectable. All connectors are mounted on the B side of the riser card. The top PCI slot is located at 2.515", the center PCI slot is located at 1.715", and the bottom PCI slot is located at 0.915" from the bottom of the board. The wide cable and the narrow cable can be ordered in various lengths. Calpc p.n. 300-500462-000

PCITX3S1 is a PCI 3 in 1 right angle riser. The overall dimension of the main board assembly is 2.75"H x 7.10"W. The top slot is connected directly to the gold fingers. The middle and bottom slots are tie together, and their PCI bus signals come from a wide cable that connects to another PCI slot on the motherboard. However, there are some dedicated signals that are needed for the middle slot, and they are borrowed from a narrow cable that connects to yet another nearby motherboard PCI slot. This arrangement allows the top slot to work with an independent PCI slot on the motherboard than the other two slots. The wide cable and the narrow cables should connect to PCI slots on the Motherboard that are controlled by a common PCI bridge chip. The user can order the riser in a three PCI-32 bit slot or up to a three 64 bit slot configuration. Calpc p.n. 300-500461-000

PAPTX-AGP is a PCI/AGP/PCI, 3 in 1 right angle riser. It plugs in an AGP slot. The overall dimension of the main board assembly is 2.95"H x 7.00"W. The middle AGP connector connects directly to the AGP gold fingers. The top slot is connected to the bottom slot. Some dedicated signals that are needed for the top slot, are borrowed from a small paddle board that is plugged into a nearby motherboard PCI slot. The bottom connector is a completely independent connection, coming from a separate paddle board of yet another PCI slot on the motherboard. The user can order the riser with PCI-32 bit or PCI 64 bit connectors. All connectors are mounted on the B side of the riser card. This riser is designed for chassis with horizontal cutouts that line up with the AGP slot on the motherboard. Picture shown above is the PAPTX-AGP-8U8-313. It is populated with 2 PCI-64 bit 3.3V connectors, and an AGP universal connector. The gold finger is cut for 1.5V (4X) AGP slot. The top PCI connector is located at 2.571", the center AGP connector is located at 1.771", and the bottom PCI connector is located at 0.971" from the bottom of the board. The wide and narrow cables can be ordered in various lengths. Calpc p.n. 300-500463-000

PAPTX-PCI is a PCI/AGP/PCI, 3 in 1 right angle riser. It plugs into a PCI-32 or a PCI-64 slot. The overall dimension of the main board assembly is 2.95"H x 7.00"W. The middle AGP connector connects to the AGP slot on the Motherboard via an AGP riser in the back. The top PCI connector connects to the bottom PCI connector. Some dedicated signals that are needed for the top connector, are borrowed from a small paddle board that is plugged into a nearby motherboard PCI slot. The bottom connector connects directly to the goldfinger. The user can order the riser with PCI-32 bit or PCI 64 bit connectors. All connectors are mounted on the B side of the riser card. This riser is designed for chassis with horizontal cutouts that line up with the 1st PCI slot on the motherboard. Picture shown above is the PAPTX-PCI-818-313. It is populated with 2 PCI-64 bit 3.3V connectors, and a AGP 1.5V(4X) connector. The PCI gold finger is cut for universal, and the AGP goldfinger is cut for 1.5V. The top PCI connector is located at 2.521", the center AGP connector is located at 1.721", and the bottom PCI connector is located at 0.921" from the bottom of the riser. The narrow cable can be ordered in various lengths. Calpc p.n. 300-500464-000
